Roundabout is published by the General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous (GB) Ltd., and is the official journal of AA in Scotland, though the views expressed in the articles are not necessarily those of AA.
People, Power, Programme

I came to AA on the 24th November, 1997. I have still got the first Roundabout I was given - December issue. Wee Emily's letter - thanks for the memory - got me looking at my life today. I came through the doors of the Fellowship not knowing if I wanted to live or die. I was using alcohol as a solution to all my problems. Thanks to the Fellowship, I have not needed to take the first drink since that day. It has not been easy but it does get easier. I am also grateful for the centre pages, as I visited my family in the North and South of Ireland, and where I found Irish-Scottish Convention contact numbers and "where to find" for North and South.
I thank my Higher Power, who I choose to call God, for bringing me through the doors into the path of people, power and Programme.
