Hi Friends,
I have started looking at the AA site on the internet over the last few days. I was delighted to find the Roundabout section, as I am a regular subscriber. I had a real chuckle when I saw Roundabout described in the second paragraph as our little magazine. This really amused me as I recently sent you an article about what I described as My Little Magazine. To be able to read this little magazine first hand, and now to be able to read again some of the contents on this wonderful website is a real bonus. We are such lucky people, lucky to be alive, lucky to be given a second chance, and so lucky with all the really good things that come with sobriety. My gratitude increases day by day. My sponsor says a day without gratitude is a day wasted, and she is so right. I am truly grateful to now be able to read something from this little magazine any time I want to via my computer. I wonder what Bill W and Dr. Bob, would think of AA today? I imagine they would be so proud of how far the Fellowship has come. What a privilege it is to be a part of it all.
Finding this AA website is something else that has come out of my sobriety, as I could not even use a computer when I was drinking. In sobriety I have attended classes and even managed to obtain two certificates, New Clait and the European Computer Driving Licence. Not a bad achievement for a recovering alcoholic pensioner! Please keep up the good work. I love my little magazine, ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Thank you all so much.
Yours in gratitude and fellowship,
M.W,
South Wales
